A #robot is basically a programmable machine that can take decisions by itself. #Robotics is the field of study that deals with the construction and working of such robots. If students show an inclination towards science and engineering now and want to make a career in these fields, this course will make them better prepared and lay the foundations for a better understanding.
It will help them immensely in terms of logic building and hence will help kids to become smarter and have an edge over others.
Reading ,wRiting, Arithmetic, and Robotics. Robotics is now becoming a part of the education process itself.
This program is hugely popular throughout the world, with over 3 lac kids participating in IRO. But in India only the top IB schools have this program. There are only 300 kids who enter the competition from India. We want our kids to be a part on a global level as well.
It is a very fun and practical way of understanding concepts of robotics. It helps kids with logic building as well as valuable life skills such as working in a team. As soon as a kid looks at his surroundings, at the back of his mind he knows the technology and logic behind robots and machines.
This ability to accept and understand new technology and think out of the box, will definitely give them an edge over others.
For e.g. 12 yr old kids abroad have such a great exposure that they actually make apps that we use on our smartphones.
We believe that even our kids can match up to that level. Here kids are already exposed to technology all around. This course will give them the push to understand all of this technology.
The push for STEM Education programs in schools has never been more loud then the past few years. With #NEP also making programs like AI, Coding ,#Pythonprogramming etc a part of the curriculum, its probably an appropriate time for schools to set up their own independent coding / stem labs.
There are 3 main focus areas on setting up this lab.
1. Curriculum / Content and Session Plans – What to teach the kids is going to be critical and how best to structure it so that we get maximum learning in a limited amount of time. This structure will help teachers plan their classes and also leapfrog the testing phase to direct teaching.
2. Training – The existing teachers / training staff in schools is far more capable to conduct these programs. All they require is specific program training.
3. Resources – What are the best curated resources for programs like Robotics / Electronics etc to ensure that the lab is robust and user friendly for the children who will be using it. Curation is critical, as for example Robotic Kits costs range from Rs 4000 to Rs 80000/- per kit. Pros and Cons of each kit and the advantages it brings to the school are critical.

STEM is the acronym for Science / Technology / Engineering & Maths. It has become a unique approach to learning and teaching modern day technologies & pedagogies. It has become essential to start STEM Education at an early age, which will help foster Hands On – Mind On thinking and deeper affinity towards programs like Robotics, Coding, Game Design, 3d Design etc. Programs can be broken in 2 groups.
Group A – With resources – Programs like Robotics / #AI / #IOT / Electronics / 3D Designing / #STEMFundamentals etc
Group B – Without resources – Programs like #Coding / #GameDesign / #AppBuilding / #HTML / #Python etc Ideally a school should begin with 3 – 4 of these programs which will cover the broad spectrum of STEM and also have suitable age appropriate programs for all children.
www.irobokid.com recommends 1) Robotics / 2) Coding & Game Design & STEM Fundamentals.
FLITE or Future Learning in #TechnologyEducation is our one stop solution for schools to run their own independent learning platforms. The module comes equipped with all teaching tools / curriculum / session plans / assessment & grading tools and also training for the school teachers to run these programs in the school in a lab / cc or eca format independently and in a long term sustainable manner
It does not matter which school board(#ICSEschool/ #CBSEschool/ IBschool/ Stateboard) the school is from, this is applicable and can be used across the entire spectrum of schools and students. The entire goal of programs with https://futurelearning.irobokid.com/ are created so that STEM can be delivered to each and every desk.
The average price of setting up a school lab starts from as low as from Rs 90000 & with a resource heavy lab, we can go all the way to 900000/-. These costs include everything that is needed to start and run this program in any school.

Training teacher is one of the main pillars of any good STEM / Coding and Innovation lab set up. Its essential for the school to identify good teachers / train them and make them aware of the process that needs to be followed in conducting these programs in a manner which will inspire kids to learn STEM education. India will need 60k + #stemteachers in the near future, get your teachers trained with #flitelabs
www.irobokid.com has been connected with over 100 + schools and trained over 500 teachers in the past decade or so
#stemfundamentals is the best basic program to begin with grade 1 and grade 2 children.
To become #futureinnovators, students need to cultivate a diverse set of skills, knowledge, and qualities that enable them to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive positive change.
Yes – STEM is age, board, gender and status agnostic – All students can and should learn STEM.
iRobokid recommends coding from standard 5.
Very important, 5 out of 8 jobs will need a background in #stem education.
There is a significant demand for skilled coders across various industries, including technology, finance, healthcare, and entertainment. As technology continues to advance, the need for proficient coders is expected to grow.
Yes, digital skills are incredibly relevant for students to learn in today's increasingly digital and technology-driven world.
Many jobs now require at least some level of digital proficiency. From basic computer literacy to specialized skills like coding, data analysis, and digital marketing, having digital skills can significantly enhance employability across various industries.
With growing emphasis on STEM education, www.flitelabs.com will help you upgrade your #scienceandtechnology lab.
EdTech has facilitated a shift from traditional classroom-based learning to digital learning environments. This includes the development of online courses, digital textbooks, and multimedia resources that allow for flexible and accessible learning experiences.
